Hi, I’m Alice and I am one of the vets here at Valley Cottage Vets. I am originally from the USA and moved to New Zealand in 2006 to go to veterinary school, graduating in 2010. I worked as a vet in Invercargill and Paraparaumu, then joined Valley Cottage Vets at the start of 2022. On top of working here, I also work 2-4 shifts per month at the Wellington After Hours Emergency Vet Clinic. I am passionate about all aspects of small animal veterinary medicine, but particularly enjoy surgery and dentistry.
At home I have two English Staffordshire Bull Terriers called Piglet and Pumbaa, and two cats called Yeti and Syren. On my days off I enjoy tramping, cooking/baking, traveling, and reading.
